Lovely park. Excellent for the kids in summer. Swings, trampolines, splash pool, plenty of squirrels around and a great Japanese garden.
Good park for letting kids get their wiggles out. Sadly it seems during the winter most of the additional play features are closed, but the children had fun on the available play structures.
Old Victorian park in morecambe with nice gardens small themed trail and attractions during summer months, like a small ride on train wooden swing boats and trampolines which all cost a few pound, there are 2 free play areas 1 for toddler and one for bigger children at the far end of the park. Also a cafe toilets and activity area during summer.
Great place, has so much for the kids to do, large grass areas for football, games, large family picnics. Some of the play areas are extra, a 1-2 per child. This is usually in the Summer months. It's good for kids of all ages. There is bowling greens. Disabled access to most areas, better to get around the grass areas in a power chair. We would not try the grass outside the dry season, however there are plenty of paths and chairs and places to sit on the edges of the grass areas and watch the kids playing. Disabled toilets, you will need a fob key. You can get them from your council or online. A the kids in our family will stay here all day in the summer holidays.
Been a few times to Happy Mount, always a good day out. Plenty of things to keep the kids occupied, and most are well priced at a quid or so.Cafe in the park is good.Wet play area, good but gets busy. And the water's cold!Large adventure play at the back end of the park, free.Outdoor brass band concert last time we visited.
