We enjoyed the experienceIt was very quiet and no entertainment was in place which didn't bother us. Some of recovery was dirty but that may have been down to the last occupants. The caravan it self was spotlessly clean.Well done regent bay.
Smaller, quiet site but most the facilities of larger ones. Feels a bit old fashioned. Caravan was fine but a little worn. Nothing wrong with our stay but nothing to make it stand out either
Excellent well run camping and caravan site.Caravan we stayed in was very clean and looked almost new with central heating etc.On site facilities were spotlessly clean and well.presented.Swimming pool excellent even though you were limited to around 45 minutes because it is quite small.But again staff were very friendly.and polite.
Pleasant enough surroundings. Although close to main road and a railway line the noise from neither of them was a problem. Coming to the end of the season so entertainment nothing to write home about. Staff friendly enough but obviously looking forward to end of the season. Main problem for me was getting around on my mobility scooter. There are speed bumps to slow down the cars, fair enough but there are no foot paths. A lot of the speed bumps cover the full width if the road and are too high for my scooter so had to turn back a few times. Also when coming out of the reception/entertainment building I had to go right round the building to get to the other side of the barrier which pedestrians could do with going along a short path. I couldn't use the path as it was too high for me to get off on my scooter . The security barriers at the entrance and exit gates are great idea. However, they had ran out of keys so in order to get in/out of the park my daughter had to keep going into reception to ask them to open the barrier to let us through. Most disappointing of all the Park holiday parks we have stayed at.
Great holiday, lovely staff, met some lovely people who owned caravans on site. Caravan we stayed in was fantastic couldn't fault it. Restaurant was slow but food was good, swimming, arcade and show bar all brilliant. Kids loved it there. You have to book for activities like swimming but well worth it.
