Weirdos all of them. Pulled up outside, started to look around cars outside 5 seconds later employee asks can he help. I say im just looking to see whats around. Asks if there is anything particular, i reply again im just looking to see whats around. Says ok i will let you have a look to see whats here. 3 min later comes back and asks have i see anything i like. I say no im just browsing the stock and i will call you if i need help and then he replies ok we have more inside if you would like a look ( to get you to go inside). I went inside, sat in a golf and 10 seconds later a different salesman comes back and asks me '' are you the one on the motability scheme. Meaning as i was outside browsing the sales men have all had a chat inside about me i.e hes on the scheme and looking at stock. How else would he know i was on the scheme? so after 1 min of being inside the showroom im being asked if i am on the scheme and what am i looking for and if he wants to take me to his desk where he can tell me the cars on motability i say no its ok thanks and i started walking away to look at a different car WHERE HE FOLLOWED ME still asking me questions ie when are you expected to change car or manual or automatic. Sales people hound you and i would avoid at all costs

Possibly the worst and sneakiest team of sales people you could hope to deal with. They clearly try to hit their targets through deposits alone by pushing sob stories and harassing you to put a deposit down within the first half hour of visiting. When escalating an issue they also (and this is absolutely astonishing) providee the name of the area manager but no email. When i tracked down said area manager it turned out he had left over 2 years ago. The manager here Peter is worse than the sales guys. Anything goes in order to rip you off. Avoid at all costs.
Visited the garage in October to look for a new car, I initially had no intentions of buying anything on my first visit. I was coursed into leaving a deposit even though I repeatedly told the sales advisor I wanted to come back with my brother who could advise me on what to do. I then received OVER TWENTY calls and five voicemails from the garage within a two day period asking me to sign a document they had emailed me and asking me to leave a Google review as one previous customer had a left a bad review, which meant their star rating had dropped. I decided I did not like being hounded in such a way and it just screamed desperation on their part for the sale. I decided to cancel my order, which I am well within my right to do so. The garage kept 500 which I had left for the deposit, which again, is well within their right as a dealership. I however, did not expect the attitude of the manager or the sales advisor to turn so sour after all, the had an extra 500 in their pocket for seemingly doing not a lot.... I asked for an email to be sent to me which confirmed cancellation, it compromised of one sentence. I then received another email less than two days later thanking me for choosing Volkswagen Lancaster as a place to choose to buy a car and if I changed my mind, to go back and visit!! I will avoid this place at all costs in the future and I would advise anyone else thinking of going to even browse their, take reinforcements, someone who is clued up to the ways of pushy sales men and their sob stories. Overall my experience with the garage wasn't pleasant and the change in attitude when something wasn't going their way was nothing short of a child having a tantrum. Unprofessional, rude, pushy sales, sob stories and attitude I can do without.
