We have just had another brilliant two night stay at the Broadwater. David our host was again excellent and can never do enough for you. We have been staying at the Broadwater for the past two years, on a regular basis. The facilities and the breakfast are both exceptional.
I stayed at the Broadwater for 7nights on.a working trip usually I cant wait to get home but I seriously didn't want to leave! David is genuinely welcoming, kind and thoughtful but never intrusive. I was welcomed with tea and cake he gave me a room with bath as he Thought id appreciate a soak after a long working day so caring! Every evening when I returned the lights and heat had been put on in my room fresh towels and bathrobe every day snacks bottled water flowers and a chocolate by my pillow! Having worked in 5 star hotels in London's West End for years I can honestly say I feel this guesthouse is superior to any place iv known the whole house is pristine and the breakfast is delightful and delicious. I wish David nothing but love and luck he rightly deserves
I have just spent the most delightful two nights at The Broadwater. From the greeting from David (and carrying my case up to the third floor!) to the quality of the breakfast choices (everything, if you feel like being a pig) the place cannot be faulted. The rooms are immaculate and there is everything you need for your comfort. A choice of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and even small sachets to make squash. Water in the fridge, crisps and biscuits for a snack and toiletries are all there. David should be very proud of what he has achieved and I would like to be that he gets a vast amount of repeat bookings because his attention to detail is second to none. Well done, I will be back with the Old Man next time!
Back to the Broadwater for the third time. If there were six stars David would definitely get them!! Absolutely everything is amazing, amenities, bed, towels, toiletries, breakfasts.
Outstanding! I can't fault the Broadwater. We've stayed in lots of places and can be quite picky but we were so impressed there. The breakfast was superb and far superior to big hotels or much more expensive B&B's. Beautiful comfy bed. (I need a good bed as I have a bit of a bad back). There was just the right amount of attention and conversation from David. The attention to detail and creative thought and understanding put into what guests might need was very noticeable and made us smile. Two pairs of binoculars to appreciate the ever changing light on Morecombe Bay. Excellent!
